By visiting, browsing, or purchasing from louisamaycarson.com (the "Site" or "Storefront"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), along with my Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Cancellations Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, shoppers, customers, and retail buyers who access the site or purchase products. Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions outlined herein, you may not access the website, add products to your cart, or make any purchases.

2. Eligibility & Permitted Use

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or country of residence, or that you are of legal age and have given your consent for any minor dependents to use this site. You may use this storefront solely for lawful personal or authorized commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

3. Made-to-Order Production & Cancellation Policy

Every travel coloring book in this catalog is manufactured and printed to order individually after your order is submitted and payment is confirmed. Because each book is produced specifically for your order, manufacturing begins promptly after checkout. Consequently, orders cannot be changed, modified, or cancelled once submitted. Please verify your selected destination titles, quantities, and delivery address carefully prior to completing checkout.

4. Product Specifications & Accuracy

Each travel coloring book is a softcover paperback matte edition measuring 8.5 × 11 inches (US Letter) containing 32 interior pages printed on quality uncoated white coloring paper suitable for colored pencils, crayons, and markers. While I make every effort to display cover artwork and interior previews as accurately as possible, actual printed colors may vary slightly from how they appear on your screen due to device monitor calibrations, brightness settings, and standard print manufacturing tolerances.

5. Pricing, Taxes & Automatic Volume Tiers

All product prices are stated and charged in U.S. Dollars ($ USD). Storewide Buy More & Save volume discounts apply automatically in your cart based on the total number of qualifying books across any mix of destinations. Qualifying free domestic shipping promotions apply automatically at checkout once your order subtotal reaches the required threshold. Applicable state and local sales taxes are calculated and collected at checkout where required by law. I reserve the right to correct pricing or typographical errors and to update prices at any time prior to order placement.

6. Order Acceptance & Merchant Discretion

Receipt of an automated order confirmation email acknowledges that your order request was received, but does not constitute formal acceptance of the order. I reserve the right, at my sole discretion, to refuse, hold, or cancel any order for any lawful reason, including suspected fraudulent activity, unauthorized resale abuse, delivery carrier limitations, or product unavailability. If an order is cancelled prior to shipment, a full refund will be promptly issued to your original payment method.

7. Secure Payment Processing

Payment must be received in full before an order is placed into production. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe Checkout. Your payment card information is encrypted and transmitted directly to Stripe under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance; full credit or debit card numbers are never stored on this website's servers. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method provided.

8. Shipping, Delivery & Address Accuracy

Orders are dispatched via standard domestic delivery across the United States. Each order is delivered to a single shipping destination address. You are strictly responsible for providing an accurate, complete, and deliverable mailing address at checkout. I cannot be held responsible for packages delayed, misdelivered, or lost as a result of incorrect or incomplete addresses supplied by the buyer. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary based on carrier logistics, weather, and seasonal volume peaks.

9. Returns, Replacements & Defective Goods

Because each coloring book is individually printed to order, I do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, buyer's remorse, or mistaken selections. However, if your book arrives damaged in transit, with printing or binding defects, or if an incorrect title was delivered, please contact me directly at support@louisamaycarson.com within 30 days of delivery. Please include your order number and 1 or 2 clear photographs showing the damage or defect, and I will promptly arrange a free replacement copy or issue an appropriate refund.

10. Intellectual Property Rights & Limited License

All cover designs, original destination line art, illustrations, editorial text, product descriptions, website layouts, and brand assets on this site and within each published volume are the exclusive intellectual property of Louisa May Carson and are protected under United States and international copyright and trademark laws. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to color, display, and enjoy the physical printed book. You may not photocopy, scan, digitize, vectorize, reproduce, resell digital files, distribute digital prints, or create derivative works for commercial gain without my prior written authorization.

11. Wholesale, Boutiques & Retail Resale Terms

Storewide volume pricing applies automatically in the cart for all orders (including orders of 10 or 20 or more books). Qualified retail businesses—such as destination gift shops, independent bookstores, and travel boutiques—are authorized to resell physical coloring books in their retail establishments. Qualified resale buyers may coordinate resale tax exemption and tax-exempt invoicing directly. Retailers are strictly prohibited from removing creator attribution, claiming authorship or creation of the books, or reproducing or distributing digital files.

12. Prohibited Website Conduct & Security

You agree not to use this storefront or its contents for any unlawful purpose. You may not use automated scripts, crawlers, scrapers, or bots to harvest data, product listings, or imagery; interfere with or circumvent the site's security measures; introduce viruses or malicious code; or attempt to access administrative tools or data not intended for public access.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website, its content, and all products sold are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While I strive to represent cover colors and page illustrations faithfully, actual printed colors may vary slightly depending on monitor displays and print production.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Louisa May Carson shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or from any products purchased, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no case shall my total aggregate liability exceed the total purchase price actually paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Louisa May Carson from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, losses, or legal expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms of Service, your misuse of this site, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

16. Third-Party Services & Marketplaces

This storefront interacts with third-party service providers, including Stripe for payment processing and carrier services for domestic delivery. Those third-party providers have their own independent terms of service and privacy policies governing their services. Some of my titles may also be available on Amazon; purchases made through Amazon are governed exclusively by Amazon's terms of service and purchase policies.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service and any purchase agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchases shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Mono County, California.

18. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion shall be severed without affecting the validity and enforceability of all remaining provisions. These Terms of Service, together with my Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and Louisa May Carson regarding your use of the site and purchase of products.

19. Modifications to Terms of Service

I reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms of Service at any time by posting revisions to this page. The date of the most recent revision will be noted at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the website or placement of orders following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those modifications.
